Summertime Fun



Looking for something fun, educational, and entertaining for your child to do over summer break? Appalachian State University is offering a variety of summer camps for rising 1st graders through 12th.  From Math and Science Camps, Sports Camps, and the 6th Annual Camp UREC, children can participate in both day and overnight  experiences.


  • Anatomy and Physiology Camp – High School students
  • Russian and Marketing – High School students
  • Math Camp – 6th through 12th grade
  • Animal Studies – 5th through 8th grade
  • Camp Kaleidoscope - 3rd through 5th grade
  • Camp Invention – 1st through 6th grade

~SPORTS CAMPS~

Available for children ages 6 through 18. Camps include field hockey, soccer, football, baseball, wrestling, tennis and many more!

~Camp UREC~

Camp UREC is a recreational based day camp, offered for rising 1st graders through 9th graders. This camp offers a range of fun activities from scaling a fifty foot indoor climbing wall to splashing in the Olympic size swimming pool. Most activities are outdoors, so children will enjoy the fresh mountain air!

Camp UREC will be offering two sessions running Monday through Friday, June 11th – June 29th, and July 9th – July 27th from 8:30am to 4:30 pm.
