Snowy Weekend Activities

With Winter coming to a close, take advantage of our snowy forecast this weekend in the High Country. Skiing, snowboarding, tubing and skating are all in full swing at our local slopes. Enjoy skating under the stars at Appalachian Ski, while warming up by the rink side bonfire and a nice cup of hot cocoa. Take a trip to Hawksnest Snow Tubing and enjoy 30 lanes of tubing excitement! Not a snow enthusiast, visit Grandfather Mountain and enjoy the breath taking views and a bit of homemade fudge, or drive to the original Mast General Store in Valle Crucis to shop, play a game of checkers and visit the Candy Barrel.
If a busy weekend is not in your forecast, come up and enjoy the peace and quiet in a log cabin or condo. Curl up by the fireplace, and take advantage of some much needed rest and relaxation!

Foscoe Rentals invites you to sneak away for a weekend excursion, or a weekday break and enjoy the benefits of our off-season rates. Stay in our gated communities within Echota, and enjoy our amenities of the indoor pool and fitness centers, or relax by the ponds for a little fishing. Looking for some fresh mountain air, visit the river-front park and enjoy the great outdoors.

The Grand Opening of the High Gravity Adventure Aerial Park, located near Tweetsie, will take place on April 11, 2015. This exciting ropes adventure offers tight rope walks, swinging foot loops, and a variety of unique challenges on this playground in the air!

It's a beautiful, snowy day in the High Country!!

Thursday, January 8, 2015

Good day from Foscoe Fox,

It is a blustery day in the mountains with temperatures overnight dipping as low as -6 degrees. Local schools have closed, and everyone is bundled up to stay warm. The pond outside has frozen over, and it seems the weather will continue to be frigid for the next few days.

The cold front is welcomed by our winter parks, who hope to increase the snow base for the upcoming holiday weekend. Foscoe Rentals would love to invite you and your friends to stay with us for the MLK weekend. All of our properties are within 30 minutes to all the local attractions, and we have several properties still available.

As the wind picks up, I think it's time to find a warm spot to curl up in.

                                                                                          Until next time;
                                                                                                   F.F.

Greetings and Happy New Year from Foscoe Fox:

The New Year has come in with a chill in the air, and the hustle and bustle of the holidays are slowly winding down. The cooler temperatures have made our skier friends happy, and it finally feels a little more like winter in the High Country!

Last night, as 2014 came to a close, the skies were illuminated by spectacular firework displays at our local ski slopes! The special New Year's celebration was enjoyed by both locals and visitors to the area! If you weren't able to visit for the holidays, we invite you to experience our winter fun throughout the month of January! Come curl up by the fire and relax, or visit any of our local ski slopes, ice skating and snow tubing resorts, all within thirty minutes of our properties.

With all the festivities coming to a close, it's time to rest a bit and refocus on the upcoming year. We hope to see you soon here in the beautiful High Country!

                                                                                                Kind Regards,
                                                                                                       F.F.
