88th Annual Singing on the Mountain

The 88th Annual Singing on the Mountain will be this upcoming Sunday, June 24, in the McRae Meadows of Grandfather Mountain. The event begins at 8:30 am and will continue throughout the day with a mid-day break for the sermon. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and pack a picnic to enjoy gospel singing and fellowship. Admission is free and camping (without hookups) is available on the grounds.
Guest speaker, Jerry Moore will be addressing the audience this year. Coach Moore is the head football coach for Appalachian State University, and is noted as the winningest coach in the Southern Conference history with three straight division one national championships. He is known for speaking throughout the country, including many Fellowship of Christian Athletes gatherings.
